The Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for The Export of Rice from Vietnam to China

On 30/05/2016 in Ha Noi, Vietnam - the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as MARD) and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s republic of China (hereinafter referred to as AQSIQ) have reached consensus after a friendly consultation.

Specifically, in order to export rice to China, Vietnamese rice must comply with Chinese phytosanitary requirements and the origin of those shipments. The Vietnamese side had to introduce rice export hubs to the Chinese side, and only units were inspected and recognized by AQSIQ could export to this market.

TVFood is honored to be one of the 22 AQSIQ-recognized enterprises permitted to export rice to China after its inspection in Vietnam from 15/11 to 30/11/2016. The validity period for orders leaving Vietnamese ports is from 01/01/2017.
