Terms And Conditions For Rice Export

1. Packing:

• PA.PE bags:                             1 – 5kgs
• PP, PP/PE, BOPP/PE bags:  5 – 50kgs
• Jumbo bags:                           500 – 1,000kgs

*The bags of rice can be loaded onto big vessels or into 20ft containers.

2. Inspection: 

By an Independent Inspection Company in Vietnam for weight, quantity and quality of the cargo, pointed or agreed by the buyer. The result of the shipped weight, quantity and quality is issued by this company at port of loading to be final for both parties.

3. Payment:

- 30% at order by T/T in advance, 70% balance by T/T right after receiving the copy of B/L by email, or

- Irrevocable L/C at sight 100%, or

- Another agreed method of payment.

4. Shipment time:

Within 15-30 days upon receipt of Buyer’s Deposit or L/C.

5. Documents for payment:

As per the requirement of destination, in common, they are:

(1) Commercial Invoice

(2) Packing List

(3) Bill of Lading

(4) Cert. of Quantity, Weight and Quality

(5) Certificate of Origin

(6) Fumigation Certificate

(7) Phytosanitary Certificate

(8) Insurance Policy (if CIF)
